You were never meant to do it alone.
Hi there!
I want to start off by saying that I am so happy that you are here. Whether you are a preteen, teen, or young adult trying to navigate the changes and challenges that come with life transitions or a new and/or expecting parent that is experiencing a perinatal mood or anxiety disorder; I am fully trained & want to support you!
I graduated with my master’s degree from Rutgers University in 2013. Since that time, I have worked and trained in a variety of mental health settings. I have experience as a director of a therapeutic program in a school setting, supported women and children in a hospital setting, and as a clinician for a private practice prior to building my own.
I am fully trained by PSI (postpartum support international) to support women who are struggling with infertility, pregnancy loss, pregnancy, and the postpartum period. I also current work per diem for RWJ Barnabas as a per diem therapist working with their PMAD (perinatal mood and anxiety disorder) population.
My goal is to provide a space where my clients can feel safe, seen, and understood. I use a client centered approach and depending on the client’s needs also favor a CBT model and a strengths-based approach. It is important to note that the relationship I have with my clients comes before any approaches or models I incorporate.
Please feel free to reach out and schedule your free initial 15-minute consultation if you have any other questions.
Warmly,
Felicia Lynne Herrero, LCSW LLC
